Student Media Conference

The Student Media Conference (KMS) is a nationwide series of discussion panels and journalistic workshops addressed to members of the editorial board of student media from all over Poland and students who want to start their adventure with journalism. The aim of the event is to broaden their knowledge of journalism and new media. Participants meet respected journalists, improve their workshop and exchange experiences.

These are three days full of concentration, impressions, discussions, conversations with journalists and visits to the largest Polish editorial offices. Year by year, the event is becoming more and more popular and recognized, as evidenced by the speakers visiting us. Until now, they were, among others: the Sekielski brothers, Konrad Piasecki, Maciej Orłoś, Jarosław Kuźniar, Arlena Witt, Bartosz Węglarczyk and Agnieszka Gozdyra.

During the Conference, all participants have the opportunity to go on a trip to the editorial office of one of the media. In previous years, we visited , among others: Onet Rano, Radio Eska, Mam Talent studio, Skandalista program studio, Polityka. All lectures are held on the premises of the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw, and participants from outside Warsaw have the opportunity to stay overnight in University dormitories.

About 100 people and 20 speakers take part in each event, and all information about future editions can be found on Facebook Uniwerek.TV.
